Rachael Lassoff, Founder Rachael is an event planner extraordinaire! She lives, breathes, and thinks about all the little details that go into the most special of days. Rachael has been in the industry for 15 years! Starting as a photographer and working her way to planning events, Dream Day Events was born in 2015 and Rachael never once looked back. Being in the industry for so long has enable Rachael to develop effective communication skills not only with her clients, but also with vendors. She can anticipate your needs and your vendors needs before you or they even realize them! She is your advocate all the way through, cheering you on, but also your coach, fighting your stress demons, saving you money and lots of time! Every step you take, she takes with you. More than events, helping people is Rachael's true passion. Everything she does comes from her heart. She carries that sentiment throughout other areas of her life, as she is very active in supporting Horizon House, a Philadelphia non-profit who serve over 5,000 people who suffer from mental illness, homelessness, and intellectual disabilities. Aside from playing fairy godmother and being a community helper, you can catch Rachael in the kitchen cooking to entertain her loved ones with her yummy treats. Her famous specialties are Beef Bourguignon, Jewish Apple Cake, and Cinnamon Rolls! Sophia Eanone, Event Planner Sophia grew up in West Chester, PA, and stayed local for college in her free time. You can catch her out to dinner and drinks with friends and traveling the world. She loves wedding planning because she wants to be able to help create the day that someone has been imaging their entire life and make it as perfect as possible! Katie Welsh, Intern Katie grew up on the Main Line and spent eight years living in New York City after graduating with a degree in Arts Administration from Wagner College. She spent her time in New York as an Administration Manager of a large Architectural Design firm where her favorite responsibility in the role was planning events! She moved back to Philadelphia five years ago and currently resides in Fishtown, working at URBN as an Executive Coordinator where she continues to plan events on a weekly basis. She realized she wanted to take her passion for event planning to the next level and is currently earning her Masters in Hospitality Management at Temple University, so that she can turn her passion into the career she has always dreamed of! As the daughter of a Personal Chef and Caterer, she has endless experience and knowledge of the industry - especially food! As a creative person, she loves to plan and execute events to ensure clients have an unforgettable experience. Her innate ability to connect with people and turn their visions into a reality is what drives her passion for the industry! |
